This project was completed by Tantalus Studio, with Amy Vicente as the lead interior architectural designer during her past employment with the studio (prior to founding House of Tropics).  She worked closely with the clients to understand how they wished to live in this home, what textures and colors inspired them, what forms and objects evoked a sense of calm and peace. This project was a labor of love and one she holds very dear to her heart. 

It was important that the kitchen be functional and well organized while also appearing clean and minimal.  Large yet functional drawers were designed to house smaller interior drawers where needed depending on their location in the kitchen.  With well organized under-counter storage throughout, we were able to keep the countertop space open and minimal.  With only a floating ledge for art and interesting objects.
